Spirit Wear Clothing Order

We are once again offering Beddington spirit wear. Students and families can order t-shirts, hoodies and sweatpants. We are teaming up with a company called elevate. They have designed the clothing and all orders will be placed through them. This is also a fundraiser put on by parent council and 10% of all proceeds comes back to the school. You can also customize your orders by adding names onto your clothing. Once you go to their website, you place your order, pay online and all orders will be delivered directly to your home. This part is time sensitive. If you wish to place an order and ensure it arrives in time for Christmas, orders must be placed by November 17th. The link to the website is elevateathletics.ca/beddington Some people have been having trouble opening the link. If this is the case go to elevateathletics.ca/schoolapparel and then click on the Beddington logo

Legacy/Secret Path Week

Legacy/ Secret Path Week Information   We are challenging our CBE schools to get a combined total of 644 km (400 miles) walked during Secret Path Week, October 17-22. This is to honour and build awareness about the distance that Chanie Wenjack was attempting to walk when he left residential school to reunite with his family.    We will be doing a community walk during pe from Oct 19-23 and tracking our km walked as a school.   Secret Path Week is a national movement which occurs annually from Oct 17-22. The week was inspired by Chanie Wenjack, a victim of the residential school system. Schools have an opportunity to become Legacy Schools and facilitate learning during this week and over the school year through stories of resilience and participating in the 'Walk for Wenjack', which raise awareness of the legacy of residential schools.
