Jump Rope 4 Heart prizes

The prizes for the jump rope for heart fundraiser from last year were handed out today. They were delayed due to school shut down as a result of Covid. Students who are in HUB, have moved or are now in grade 7 will be notified to pick up prizes or we will ship prizes to the grade 7 school.

January PE

Happy New Year everyone. I hope you all had an enjoyable and restful break. January is typically the time we do our gymnastics and mission impossible units, unfortunately due to COVID restrictions, we will not be able to do either this year. Therefore our units for January will be; Teacher led-Badminton and paddle ball With Mr. Sadowsky-Fitness/fitness games.

Spirit Wear Clothing Order

We are once again offering Beddington spirit wear. Students and families can order t-shirts, hoodies and sweatpants. We are teaming up with a company called elevate. They have designed the clothing and all orders will be placed through them. This is also a fundraiser put on by parent council and 10% of all proceeds comes back to the school. You can also customize your orders by adding names onto your clothing. Once you go to their website, you place your order, pay online and all orders will be delivered directly to your home. This part is time sensitive. If you wish to place an order and ensure it arrives in time for Christmas, orders must be placed by November 17th. October Phys Ed

With the new cohorts and social distancing protocol, we can only have 1 phys ed class at a time. There is no more mixing of classes this year. This means I will be teaching each class phys ed once a week this year and the rest of the days they will be with their classroom teachers. This month the schedule will be as follows: October 5-30 With Mr. Sadowsky - Kickball With classroom teacher - Soccer Please remember to dress for the weather and to wear appropriate footwear. No sandals, flip flops or crocs please.
